Dr Trevor Trueman (Galato) is a former family medical practitioner who helped to train Oromo health workers among refugee camps in Sudan from 1988 to 1991 for the Oromo Relief Association. He was in Wallega, training village health workers when the Derg fell in 1991. He has reported and campaigned on human rights in Ethiopia since 1992 and was a founder member of the Oromia Support Group in 1994. OSG has published 53 reports on human rights abuses in Ethiopia, including information from accounts obtained at interview with refugees in Europe, North America, Kenya, Djibouti, Somaliland, South Africa and Egypt.
