Illegal detention of migrants in Saudi Arabia: Video from inside Ulesha migrant detention centre, Riyadh, 7 August 2021. Most of the 356 in this large hall are Oromo. Oromo migrants being cleared and their homes destroyed by bulldozer, supervised by Djibouti security services, on 30 April 2023. About 700 Oromo and Somali migrants were rounded up and taken to Nagad detention centre prior to deportation. It was reported that those with asylum-seeker status or refugee status were released but this was not confirmed. One man fleeing from police was killed by criminals on 5 May.
